- The auto shut-off function can be
cancelled. The camera remains continuously on.
- This camera can be used as webcam.
- Rendering of pictures is good.

Dismounting
-
- take off the screw on the top LCD board
- remove this board upwards.
- underneath this board, remove 2 screws then take apart
the board and the plastic cover

- remove the batteries and the memory card
- take off the 3 screws at the bottom
- take apart the front cover by sliding the bottom starting
at the plug side, then come out and entirely separate
the front and back covers.

Connexions:
- solder 2 thin wires, 100mm long each, on a plug made
with 3 female connectors of a bar 2,5mm step
- stick with araldite glue on the main board at the place
shown on the picture
- solder the other end of these 2 wires on the shutter
switch
At this stage, it is possible to
put back the LCD board , to insert temporary 2 batteries,
and check.
Note that the plug is done with
3 connectors to be compatible in the future with other equipment.
Let free one on the side.

Re-assembly
- drill 3 holes Ø1mm spaced 2.5mm step on side
of the cover, facing the female plug.
- reassemble the LCD cover
- fit the LCD and shutter board
- reassembly the front and back covers
- put back the screws.
On the picture, the Vivicam 3315 is
set on a simple craddle, with a radio triggering the shutter
release and with a video sender connected on the "video
out" plug. |
