This digital camera has a clone sold in France under the trade mark I.T.works, and the model name is Itshot 2070. The procedure is same as the vivicam..

At each power on, the auto shut-off function of this camera can be programmed to 30mn. In this case, 3mn after the power is on, the camera switch to idle mode. During the remaining 27mn, it re-activates by pressing any button.

 The procedure to install a shutter release plug is one of the most simple and not hazardous.

 

 Dismounting

  • remove the batteries and the memory card
  • open the USB cover
  • take off the 7 screws: one under (4mm) /2 under / 2 aside the strap ring (3mm) / 2 in the battery compartment, (3mm) on the face cover.
  • set off the top, by pressing on the back part: start above the screen, and progress towards the battery compartment.
  • set off the bottom, which must slide easily.
  • When the two parts are enough disengaged, recover the strap ring, and the USB cover.
  • Open widely.

Install the plug:

  • clear the wires under the flash window.
  • prepare 3 female connectors of a bar 2,5mm step, which will be placed under the flash tube.
  • With the male plug draw the place for the holes, and drill to 0.8/1mm
  • prepare 2 thin wires 80mm long each, and solder on the female plug.
  • With some compound 2 components, set and fix the female plug. use the male plug outside to center the female plug inside and maintain it under complete setting.

 

 

 
 

 

Connect

  • remove the screw next to the shutter switch
  • raise the tape
  • solder the two wires on the release switch
  • set back the tape and the screw.

Re-assembly

  • run the 2 wires without hindering the closing, or the functions, with the help of some adhesive tape.
  • close
  • do not forget to put back the strap ring, and the USB cover.
  • insert the batteries, and check it works.
  • if OK, put the screws.
