PEGASE

The Pegase is a very interesting variation of the diamond-shaped kite that kiters named Eddy from its creator. It seems that this variation would come from Germany. The cross-spar is bowed, and the fringes increase the stability, and advantageously replace the usual tail. It is possible to make it larger.

It easily flies in winds force 3 and 4.It has a briddle which is adjusted accordingly to the wind. However, once well set, it is better to work on the depth of the bow for the stronger winds.

In the mythology, Pegase is the winged horse which run in the sky. Don't the fringes recall its mane? Pegase is also the name of a constellation, which the stars just draw the shape of this kite. At last, Pegase is the symbol for poetry, and when flying, this kite has something poetical. It had no name, this is why I named it "pegase".
